For many hockey players changing their good ole go to equipment can be a hard process, especially when it comes to gloves. In my last blog I had wrote about having to purchase new gloves and since then I have purchased and used my brand new Nike Bauer Vapor XVI gloves and I could not be more thrilled.
After purchasing a slew of new equipment and skating my first game the gloves were my biggest concern as they can be very different going from one to another. In the end of my skate though the gloves stuck out in my mind as my new favorite piece of equipment. The Vapor XVI felt broke in already as I played in them for the first time, there was great grip from the glove to my stick and they were very lightweight on my hands. The only concern that I had at all was the breath-ability as these are mainly ice hockey gloves and I was using them for roller hockey but they surprised me as they were not bothersome although a little warmer than some less padded offerings. In the end I would choose more padding over breath-ability and these gloves are padded very nicely.
Overall I would definitely recommend these gloves as they changed my perspective on new gloves completely, new gloves can be comfortable! If you are in the market for some new gloves, give these a try, you will be glad that you did.
